Zander
The basis of physiotherapy is movement or exercise therapy, designed among other things to strengthen muscles. In the late 19th century, the Swede Gustav Zander designed several exercise devices, four of which the museum has. The principle of the devices was that the patient had to move against a counter movement. In total, Zander built about 70 of these devices over time.
