Group visit

For adult groups, the museum has the lecture 'Help, the doctor tells', with hilarious and hair-raising stories about doctors and their patients (approx. 50 minutes). This is combined with a tour of the museum. Under Times and prices, you will find the different types of packages you can choose from.

After visiting the museum, it is always possible to take a stroll through Den Doornhof, a botanical and herb garden full of medicinal plants. Also on the museum grounds is the 19th-century mill De Doornboom, which is open on Saturdays.

Visited this museum for the first time. And struck by the amount of stuff on display here from the doctor's practice, physiotherapy, dentist's office, consultation office and pharmacy from the earlier years. Certainly a lot of lovely nostalgia for the elderly and a point for youngsters to see how beautiful and good medicine is now. Outside, there is a beautiful and well-maintained herb garden. Also the nice and enthusiastic explanations from the staff if you wish are perfect. All this very much worth the visit.

Visited yesterday with friends. He ís now a village doctor. Incredibly cool to go back in time: doctor, pharmacy, dentist and other primary care workers. With explanations, photos and materials. Definitely worth a visit. Nice that this history has been collected here.
